Home with 2 or more floors: 5 sleeps, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms.Manchester-by-the-Sea is located on the Atlantic coast, on Cape Ann and is less than 30 miles North East of Boston. It is connected to it by a 40 minute direct train service. The town is an old New England, seaside village with an excellent sailing harbor and an outstanding sandy bathing beach both of which are a mile or less from our home. The area is noted for its salt water fishing, lobstering, sailing, whale watching facilities and outdoor activities. The North Shore is an historical area offering a large number of important monuments, regional museums, summer playhouses, nature areas with extensive hiking and cycling trails as well as scenic drives. Boston has many attractions, some important ones include: The Aquarium, The Science museum, The Museum of Fine Arts, the Commons (city park), the North end (Italian district), Chinatown, Newberry street (art galleries), the Charles River and Cambridge (Harvard University and the Fog Museum of Art). |
