Breckenridge is a quaint yet vibrant mountain town with wonderful restaurants, cosy coffee shops and plenty to do in both winter and summer. The Riverwalk Center conducts musical majesty from June through August as the Breckenridge Music Festival provides classical concerts and ensemble performances by the National Repertory Orchestra. |

Excellent area also for snow shooing, cross-country skiing, sledding, etc. Our home borders national forest. Satellite TV and computer available. Hot springs resort with swimming pools nearby. Canada - Courtenay 10km ELikes to go to Canada, Europe, USA (South West), Open for suggestions.Family/group: 2 adults. Home with 2 or more floors: 2 sleeps, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.Our home is a rural waterfront log house close to a large nature park. Popular ski hill nearby for winter visitors, golf fishing & boating in summer. Also summer activities take place up on the ski hill. The Comox Valley is the fastest growing area on Vancouver Island. Our home is situated on a cliff overlooking the waters of the Georgia Strait and you can watch the Alaskan cruise ships go by daily. Our home has a heat pump which heats in the winter and acts as an air conditioner in summer. There are also 2 woodstoves, one in the living room and one in the den which is makes the house very cosy in the winter. This area is the mildest part of Canada. Although we can have snow up on the mountain it doesn't necessarily mean snow down in the valley. Neil golfs all year round! We do have a cat, Smokey, who would simply need to be fed and if exchangers were to be away for a few days a neighbour would feed her. We will answer all offers. MEMBER SINCE 1998 |

Any island of Hawaii, Arizona, California winter of 2012 Our 12 year old home is 2800 sq ft on 2 levels with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have an efficient gas heating system which keeps the house cosy in winter. We live in an area of small acreages and have friendly neighbours. We are a 10 min drive from Vernon. The roads have regular snow ploughing in winter. We are a 30min drive from Silverstar Mountain Resort (reliable champagne powder snow). Vernon is a regional centre with theatres, shopping and restaurants, a jazz society and a film society. Nearest international airport is Kelowna 40 mins drive away. The Okanagan Valley is a wine and fruit growing area of B.C. with three ski resorts. We have two cats who require minimal care. We love our home and keep it in excellent condition. We would treat your home with the same respect. Another couple in their 60's may be travelling with us. |
