Marseille is also the gateway to Provence :gorgeous cities of Aix-en-Provence(30mn), Avignon and Arles (1h), the Southern Alps and the gorges du Verdon (2h), Cassis and its Calanques (30mn), the Riviera : Nice (2h), Monaco (2h30).
