We are offering a spacious family home in Camberwell, London. We have a large garden backing onto a wooded area which is a refreshing break for children in London. We also have a garden allotment there. The house easily accommodates a family of six. There is excellent and transport into Central London. Victoria station is only a ten minute train journey away from Denmark Hill Station which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Our house is ideally positioned for a family wanting easy access to the sites of London, combined with a quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. We live in a Victorian townhouse in south east London. Dulwich, where we live, used to be a small village and has a large park, wood, golf course and the first picture gallery in Europe. It still exists with many fine pictures by Rembrant, Reynolds etc. Needless to say Dulwich has now been incorporated into the London suburbs. It nevertheless retains its charm and is a very pleasant area. It is quiet with easy access to central London by train and bus (15 minutes by train, bit longer by bus) making it simple to get to all the museums, monuments and other sights and cultural attractions of London. It is a 45 minutes drive to Brighton, on the coast and a 60 minutes drive to Oxford.
