We are only metres away from shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Glebe is a great place from which to explore all Sydney's attractions, with a frequent bus service in to the centre of Sydney and the world famous Sydney Harbour, Bridge and Opera House. Glebe in itself is a great place to explore with a mix of grand old homes and renovated cottages. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk to the centre of Sydney in 25 minutes, passing the Fish Markets and then heading on to Darling Harbour, which is very close to China Town, and in to the centre of Sydney. There is also a light rail service only 2 minutes away, which will take you through many of these places of interest. [4 photos] |

Petersham/Stanmore is a largely gentrified Victorian suburb close to Sydney University and edgy bohemian Newtown. We are walking distance to varied local restaurants and pubs with good food. It is a 20 min cab ride to the airport for travel out of Sydney. There are cheap flights to Melbourne and the NSW or Qld coast. It is an easy drive to the Blue Mts and Canberra. [4 photos] |
